Rovers Legend To Make Shock Football Return??

Blackburn Rovers legend Tugay is understood to be set to make a shock return to football with Milton Keynes Dons??

Sunday newspaper reports understand that the 39-year-old is ready to team up with his former Rovers manager Paul Ince at the League One side as a player-coach having spent the past week training with Ince's MK Dons side.

Personally it wouldn't surprise me to see Tugay return to football as it surprised me that the former Turkish International decided to retire at the end of last season anyway, however, this move (having previously been linked with Queen Park Rangers) does seem a little strange.

Whatever Tugay does - I wish him all the luck in the world

Can really see this is a Player/Team Coach sort of role. In Hindsight, would be great for the man, Im sure he still has that competitive hunger, and it will also give him the chance to work on his coaching

I don't know why, it breaks my heart a little bit!!

yeah he can pretty much do what he likes... although if he wants to be a successful coach, doing it under Ince is not the way to go! Of course if its more because he wants to keep playing as well as having some first hand experience, than why not? good luck, i'm sure he'll be brilliant as always

him and incy must have hit it off really well when they were at rovers together. Hope all the best for him and i dont agree with retro ince wasnt a good manager for us but i expect him to be a premier league manager within the next 10 yrs

If it means tugay can get experience as a coach, and then he can possibly get on the managment ladder, hopefully he can be rovers boss someday... Good luck Tugay..
