'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ryan knows next ten games are crucial

Club captain Ryan Nelsen is glad that the first ten games of the season are out of the way, knowing that they were likely to e the toughest set of fixtures of the whole campaign!

Rovers have taken in Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal (All away) as well as tough games against Sunderland (again away) and Man City, Villa (home).

Rovers currently sit in 18th in the table, but the table does tell something of a false positio due to the games played and the fact Rovers have at least one game in hand on their main rivals.

Ryan Nelsen, speaking to rovers.co.uk said -'We knew the first ten games of the season were going to be very difficult,'

'We've got ten points and it was probably the minimum points that we needed to get.

'So now we are looking forward to the next ten games, we want to go our and obviously do a lot better.

'The first ten games were really tough, we can now look forward to the next 28!'

I personally am not too concerned that we sit where we sit in the League as its only after ten games and the lads have put in some better displays than the points actually suggests.

But lets start with a big performance at Ewood on Saturday as we start our climb up the League.

Ok, so we have got the three most difficult games of the season out of the way already. I feel we are better equipped to tackle the big boys at home anyway. But the next ten games certainly do look a bit more point happy!

I know it's an old cliche but I'm aking it one match at a time. I'm not concerned that we'll be in this position for much longer but the next match is the most important one for me, if we win that we open up some breathing room, if we lose (which we won't!!) we get dragged deeper into it and then you can start to worry a little more.

Mikey bit of a suggestion here u know u have our last six results on the right hand side of the page how about cutting that to 3 and including the next 3 fixtures coming up. No idea if u guys also design the site or just the articles thought id just throw it in

...and also it doesn't show cup games - otherwise our form would look LWLWLWL - which is much more attractive!
