Rovers draw Chelsea in Cup

Rovers have been drawn at home to Chelsea in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup after yesterdays lunchtime draw.

Rovers are at Ewood Park which is about all we could ask for as whoever we got was going to be a big ask.

The draw also Arsenal youngsters away at big spending Man City, whilst United are at home to Spurs in a repeat of last years final.

The draw is completed with Villa visiting Fratton Park to take on Pompey.

I rather hoped that Chelsea and Man Utd would have been drawn together and left us with either Pompey or Spurs at home. Let's be optomistic - given our poor run of form against the big 4 over the last year or so - isn't it about time that Rovers turned the table - how about Rovers 3 - Chelsea 2? Didn't Burnley knock them out a season or two ago?

Glad to see we got the easiest draw of the lot then lol!!
