Rovers v Burnley is a sell out!

News just in, the Rovers v Burnley game on Sunday is a sell out.

The lunchtime kick off will be played in front of a packed Ewood Park.

There were some problems in confirming the sell out due to police issues and extra seats available etc after the reduction of police space needed but now the game is an official sell out.

The two towns will be glued to see the outcome but fans who do not have tickets have been warned not to visit the stadium due to security fears.

The sell out is great news for the area as the first top flight derby for 40 year takes place in front a full rabid crowd!

Saw cup replay against Bumley in 1960. Attendance was 52,000! Rovers won (of course). Anyone noticed Bumley's away game scores this season? 0-2, 0-3, 0-4, 0-5. It doesn't take a mathematician does it?

Looking forward to this is an understatement, for those Blackburn v Burnley virgins this will the greatest atmosphere you will ever have at a football match bar none..... Bring it on
