Another Pedersen At Rovers??

Blackburn Rovers are understood to be keeping an keen interest on Marcus Pedersen (not the dude in the image, this is former Rover Per Pedersen.)

19-year-old Markus, like his namesake and current Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen is also a Norwegian, however, (as far as I'm aware) the youngster isn't any relative. Norwegian reports understand that Rovers, Sunderland and Hamburg are all watching the Stromgodset striker who would be interested in a move.

Pedersen told Hamar Arbeiterblad: "I know there are some clubs who want me, but I don't know which.

"It's nothing I will consider until the season is over.

"It would be great to play in the Premier League, but Germany would also be exciting.
"

Personally I've never heard of the dude so know nothing more than what is being reported, however, the striker is understood to have had a trial with Liverpool as a 16-year-old. Does anyone else know anymore about Marcus Pedersen?

flipping heck, do we just google Pedersen and see who comes up to be our next signing?! I am suprised we never signed Henrik!!!

Pedersen is like your surnames as Campbell and Cole. He has proved that he can score 10 goals in 20-26 games in the Norwegian "highest" level this year. He look like a strong boy without fear and respect. His biggest problem last year was his violence behaviour outside the arena. I think we should try this fellow, or else we should take a look at Joshua King at Manchester Uniteds reserves, 18 years old, popular player by the United fans. We have nothing to loose by trying Marcus Pedersen. He defintly got the physics to play in Premier League, and Big Sam teach will teach him to use his temper in positives ways. He playes at a horrible team Norway, shouldn´t be expensive at all.

If Sam can tame Diouf and Pascal then he can do quite a bit!

...and the fans save a fortune on shirt sales - re-cycle those 'Ped' shirts!

Hehehe LOL Freidel, that´s for sure. And Mikey, there won´t be any trouble with him in England. I live 10 miles away from the city and the team he played for last year (Hamar), that´s a *****ty place to live if your face is in the newspaper. People has always tried to have a go with the local "stars". Marcus is just a victim. Let´s try out the norseman :)

lol FN1, you'd need to make sure that all you had was Pedersen though, no other names that came before it or it'll be no good!! lazyfrog seems to rate the dude, so he might be worth a punt??

Anyone else know anything else about this lad? I like the idea of this more and more!

Players at Under 21 national team should always be interesting for a club like Rovers. If he goes to Germany we have to pay a lot to get him. Experts and coaches says Marcus will grow to be a similar player like Wayne Rooney.
