Grella a doubt for Burnley

Blackburn are sweating over the fitness of Vince Grella after the midfielder was subbed as a pre-caution after twenty minutes of the 0-0 friendly draw against Holland.

The length of time off Grella will need is not yet known but Sam Allardyce, a known hater of international friendlies will not be pleased, as it immediately puts Vince Grella weekend participation in doubt.

Grella has been ruled out of the Aussies' Asian Cup qualifier against Oman and Vital Blackburns' very own Australian Sasman has confirmed he is on his way back to Ewood Park for treatment (Grella not Sasman!).

Word from retroflair as we get it as well!

bit of a blow this as Vince is likely to be first choice to add steel to midfield. I hope this isnt as bad as his previous injuries have been...

If Vince misseds out he does, there isn't a lot that we can do is there? We've managed without him before and we'll manage without him again.
