ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born in Blackburn, Mike Jackman has been watching Blackburn Rovers for over 40 years since his first introduction to Ewood Park in August 1961. Mike is now retired after working for 30 years as a primary school teacher. A member of the Football Writers` Association, he is the author of seven books to date and has written extensively on the history of Blackburn Rovers. In 1994 he produced the club`s 'Official Encyclopedia`, in 1995 he produced an illustrated history of the club to celebrate the winning of the Premiership title. Both books were published by Breedon Books and in 2006 the illustrated history was again published by Breedon in a totally revised edition.
Mike produced his first edition of the 'Complete Record` in 1990 and the new edition reflects the continued research into the history of Blackburn Rovers that he has done since that time.
