August Player of the Month

August Player of the Month

Here on VB each month we will be voting for the player of the month via a poll.

It will work slighty different this season and perhaps more efficently and streamlined by presenting the VB nation with a shortlist of options.

Anyway, without further a do, the winner of the Vital Blackburn August player of the month is... Morten Gamst Pedersen.

Here are the results in full.

- Gael Givet 14%
- Chris Samba 6%
- Lars Jacobsen 6%
- Steven N'Zonzi 12%
- Morten Gamst Pedersen 62%

I hope the start that Morten has made will continue as in my opinion he has stepped it up a notch from the last few seasons where he was poorwith his crossing and end product for someone so talented.

Clearly I am not alone in noticing this improvement - he easily beat new boy Steven N'Zonzi and permanent Frenchman Gael Givet into 3rd and 2nd respectively.

Well done Morten!!!

how did this happen. I see to be the only person who thinks pedersen is not playing as well as everybody else does. Oh well lets hope he keeps improving this season and hopefully start to score some goals

I like that Gael Givet is a permanent Frenchman and not just part time! I missed the poll but he would have gotten my vote.....because he's actually managed to put the ball in the back of the net (!) and played well against West Ham.

This is a bit of a surprise but well done morten, he clearly wants that new contract or is planning on puttin himself in the shop window! I thought Nzozi and Givet were good so pleased they were bringing up the rear.
