Kalinic Bags First Goal For The Rovers

Nikola Kalinic has given Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce a little bit of food for thought after he hit the goal trail in a specially arranged private match against Burnley last night.

The £6 million striker bagged his first goal for Rovers in the closed door game and got a full 90 minute run out - with a Mikey mole suggesting that Kalinic looked sharper and better than anything so far as he builds up to full fitness.

After the match Nikola has blasted off (no not in a rocket) to play for Croatia and Slaven Bilic. He hopes to take part in games against Belarus and England.

In other goods news Michel Salgado also looked a lot fitter as he managed a full game as well and put in a good shift.

The final score was 4-1 for those who want to know!

Good to hear him get off the mark - I reckon he is working off his somewhat sluggish start which has come about because he tried to do too much too soon - onwards and upwards I say!

did we win? lol

Ye come on you can't tell us we scored against the dingles but not tell us if we won!! Doesn't matter if it counts for nothing!!

I also would like to ask ''Did We Win?, Did We Win?, Did We Win?, Did We Win?, Did We Win?'' Also very nice to hear about Kalinic & Salgado, more so Kalinic as we need goals.... lol

Believe it or not none of the reports say what score it was and my mate is not answering his phone! I cant believe I forgot to ask!?!? Do I need a slapped wrist for this?!?!?

Not a bad side to open your account against is it!! Strikers need goals (at any level) to boost confidence and this'll help.

this news has made me alot more excited about our season now! these two are pivotal to are season, its blatently obvious we need that extra bit of spice (with really only dunn providing something), and an extra bit in midfield and up front is right on the money! or squad is looking better now despite no changes since yesterday!

LET have beaten you to it! We won 4-1 but the dingle's average age was 18. Any win against the dingles is satisfying though!! He also set one up and Dunny scored again. Salgado played 90 and looked good. I would link the report but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link stuff here.
