Big Sam Up For The New Season

Big Sam Up For The New Season

Sam Allardyce has insisted that he won't be left with anyselection headaches when he comes to picking his side for Rover's openinggame of the season.

Rovers were useless at the start of last season under the guidance of PaulInce, but when Big Sam arrived he managed to turn things around despite nothaving the strongest of teams available to him every week.

But as far as Allardyce is concerned that is all in the past and the startof this season will be very different with new players and places up forgrabs.

'I don't have any dilemmas. We will play the team I consider to be the bestXI against Manchester City, irrespective of what went on last season,'Allardyce told the Lancashire Telegraph.

'What happened last season makes no difference to me, it is what happensthis pre-season and what happens in the next two games and what is going tohappen on that stupid international friendly week.'

We have to avoid letting goals in as we did last time against City when we were 2-0 up. Still hurts me and this time without Samba and Nelsen........cheers
