Rovers Appoint First Team Coach

With all the excitement surrounding the stories of Kalinic, Di Santo and Ellington of late, the appointing of a new first team coach has gone completely under the radar.

Steve Kean, the former Fulham, Real Sociadad and Coventry No.2 joined Sam's backroom ontingent earlier in the week.

Kean can speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently and Allardyce is hoping to use those skills as he continues to probe the foreign markets for new signings.

Very good coach i have heard by the coventry fans round my area and they dont know why Coleman got rid of him

I dont think it was a case of Coventry letting him go just more of a case he wanted to step up a division.
