Rovers To Sign Nascimento??

Blackburn Rovers are understood to be closing in on a deal for defender Dionatan Nascimento??

Skysports.com is reporting that Rovers have offered the 17-year-old Brazilian central defender a three-year contract, however it's also understood that the MFK Kosice youngster probably wouldn't be eligible to make a move to England??

Nascimento trained with Newcastle United in January but didn't join them (something I'm sure he's happy about!!) and has since trained with Rovers and Birmingham City.

Meanwhile Sekou Baradji believes that he could do well for Rovers should Sam Allardyce decide to sign him.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been training with Rovers during Pre-Season and Baradji believes that he's done enough to earn a move to Ewood Par if a fee can be agreed.

Baradji told Sky Sports: "I believe that I could do well for this team but the decision rests with the coach and the two clubs striking a deal."

It's understood that a fee of around €500,000 (£430,000) would be enough for Portuguese side Naval to sell the Frenchman who has previously played for West Ham United and Reading but failed to breakthrough at either club, however, he feels he is now ready for the Premier League.

He added: "I am now more mature and better equipped to play in the Premier League."

why not? we've a decent one in ALEX!
merlin
good point merlin! if Sam rates him as a defender then why not! He's inexpensive and will have learnt from his last stint in England!

I liek the name, that's good enough for me lol! However, I'd be surprised if he meets the criteria that is needed to play in England?! Couldn't we sign him and loan him out to our feeder club, isn't that what Chelsea did with Alex??
Walker
