Southend Send Rigters Back!!

Blackburn Rovers striker Maceo Rigters isn't able to earn himself a contract with a League One side!!

Once one of the golden boys of a new Dutch generation the former Dutch Under-21 International striker has been sent back to Ewood Park by Southend United after failing to impress during Pre-Season matches against Ipswich Town and Dagenham & Redbridge after appearing for Southend as a trialist.

How the mighty have fallen is a very appropriate way to sum up Rigters!!
