Rovers Consider Chimbonda Approach??

Blackburn Rovers are understood to be considering an approach from Tottenham Hotspur's Pascal Chimbonda.

Skysports.com say that they understand that Sam Allardyce is targeting the 30-year-old versatile defender who looks set to leave White Hart Lane again having only returned to Tottenham last January. The former French International was understood to be interesting Portsmouth but no deal has happened and Chimbonda has since said that he isn't looking to leave Spurs??

Personally, as much as I don't really like Chimbonda as a person I'd not be against Allardyce signing him if the price was right.

Not sure he is for sale at the moment Spurs have no CB's so maybe needed as cover.

for the right price he would be a fantastic addition, would slot in at RB very well and force some competition in the side.

Personally I don't like Chimbonda but at the right price I'd back Big Sam to get the best from him. At the moment though I'd not imagine Spuds will be selling??

We have more right backs than we know what to do with at the moment Walker so if a bid came in for Pascal i'd say it would be accepted.
