Rovers Move For Striker Ghilas

Blackburn Rovers are in talks to sign Algerian international Kamel Ghilas.

Sky Sports have just revealed the details of the move about 20 minutes ago.

Bolton and Portsmouth have been heavily linked with a move for a while but now it seems Blackburn have totally over taken both in the race for his signature.

It is understood Rovers have agreed to pay Celta £1.7 million for Ghilas, who played in both France and Portugal before moving to Spain in early last year.

He certainly has promise this lad and there is even been a video of Kamel posted on VB today but you have to wonder where this leaves the Di Santo deal?

Or if Sam has plans to splash more cash in other areas of the team such as midfield?

Confused yet anyone?

Either way it is very good to see us make some waves in the transfer market!

Finally we are set for some striking reinforcements!

Hardly inspiring. This striker hunt is becoming laughable if im being honest. There are good players like ashton, martins, nugent potentially available for little more than £5m, prem experience in their locker also. Why aren't these being considered rather than the foreign drival we are being linked with.

Hopefully this guy is more cheap in wages then the others and match better to Sams system.....cheers
