Treacy Goes On Loan To The Blades

A quick bit of news in is that Keith Treacy has left Blackburn on a medium term loan agreement to join Championship side Sheffield United.

He will be there till January to go get some games under his belt as the Irish winger continues his development.

This will work out well for both sides as Treacy will not be nudging Gamst Pedersen out of his position for the start of the season and with the arrival of Elrio Van Heerden will be facing increased competition for a spot on the left.

This move helps all parties.

Come back strong Keith.

Hey lads, You all sound positive about this lad, what do you think of him? is he a good loan signing for The Blades?
gloucblade
Treacy is one for the future mate. I think he needs some roughing up in the Championship, some bulking up also. Can deliver a nice cross, and has a bit of pace down the left flank.....but then again, so did Sergio peter, and he ended up being shown the door....

Hi Gloucblade! I think he does lack real pace but he is a work horse no doubt about it. A spell in the Championship will do him well and to be fair mate - it will do you good s well. You have yourself some promise there!
