Reports - Vieri Walks Out On Blackburn

Christian Vieri has apparently ended his trial run with Blackburn Rovers before it has finished - in a very unprofessional manner it seems.

The veteran striker had been doing his best to get on side with Big Sam and the Rovers players but has abruptly called time on his trial period.

He was all set to make his Rovers bow in the friendlies with Nacional and Hadjuk Split yesterday but it is now reported he did not turn up.

It is believed the former Italian international has had a change of heart and is looking for a different angle in which to continue his playing career.

Vieri is famous for this sort of behaviour as he had previously left Sampdoria without even training with them and then left Atalanta after deciding to call it quits two months early!

He is now on holiday.

Good riddance with this attitude!

Jeez this is out of the blue!!! Ah well better now then later, allows Sam to go elsewhere

For the best - Vieri has done us a favour if that is his attitude.

Shame the way it ended but I never thought he would cut it. If a player is released from a lesser team in Italy I don't think that they would have much chance in the higher tempo PL. I think any deal would have been based on past glories - and with big wages. We can do better.

I backed him but if these reports are true (you don't know with the British media *spit* scum) then he doesn't deserve a chance at any club.
