Goal Of The Season (Against Us!)

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2008-2009 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2008-2009 continue to be dished out with the BEST GOAL SCORED AGAINST ROVERS THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: Fernando Torres (Liverpool)

When asked to simply leave the name of the player you feel scored the goal, which you felt was the BEST (I know they are all bad but some leave you thinking, well done!!) we conceded this season most felt Torres should be the Award Winner, so congratulations go to the Liverpool striker for scoring the best goal we conceded!!

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.

A clear winner. Normally when rovers concede I am either upset or mad but this was one of those rare occassions you just have to accept that something was too good.

True Mikey, sometimes you just have to pick the ball out of the net, shake your head a little and then start over. Unfortunately, we went on to get dominated in this one. Not a game to remember for us Rovers fans.

For all the wrong reasons maybe, although at least we learnt things about ourselves that day!
