The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2008-2009 continue to be dished out with the BEST TEAM FACED BY ROVERS THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: Arsenal

When asked to simply leave the name of the team you believe have been the Best Team faced by Rovers this Season most felt Arsenal should be the Award Winner! So congratulations go to Arsenal (who END the Manchester United dominance on this!!)

glen9mullan said: "Liverpool were pretty good but i thought Aston villa at Ewood were in a different league."

BomBom said: "Villa this time around. At least it wont be the scum this year!!"

Adrianbrfc said: "Man Utd at home."

Mikey D said: "Arsenal.

Two 4-0 losses speak for themselves.

Blue n Whitey said: "Liverpool! away from home we got baaaatterd! second to that I'm gonna say West Brom! Simply because they play awesome football and we didn't manage to beat them in either game!"

Sasman said: "Arsenal wins this, they destroyed us, twice....."

fair play this one. They took us to bits twice but the good news is that wont be happening next season! I have every confidence in this - especially since they got all high and mighty after the Emirates game again and starting slating us for being too rough (grow up girls)!
