With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2008-2009 season.
The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2008-2009 continue to be dished out with the TEAM OF THE SEASON.
THE WINNER: Fulham.
When asked to simply leave the name of the team you believe have been the Team this Season most felt Fulham should be the Award Winner! So congratulations to Fulham for being voted Vital Blackburn's Team of the Season!!!
An honorary mention must go to Stoke City though, who ran Fulham very close.
This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.
Money4midfield said: "Fulham. I've always had a soft spot for Roy Hodgson. This season they were far more than the sum of their parts. Good luck to the Cottagers next season in Europe."
BomBom said: "I hate to say it but you have to give a nod to the dingle bastards down t'road.
Still, Liverpool for me, have improved and next season SHOULD see them seriously challenge for the title!"
glen9mullan said: "Fulham, great to see Hodgson having another chance and successful one at that in the premiership."
adrianbrfc said: "Fulham."
Mikey D said: "Stoke City.
No one gave them a bat in hells chance and they did it - comfortably."
Blue n Whitey said: "Yeah, Mikey i seem to be in agreement with you quite a lot on these awards! Stoke were definitely the shock team of the year, everyone wrote them off, they were odds on to go down and proved eveeeeerybody wrong!"
Durks said: "Bookies even paid out on them being relegated at the start of the year so Stoke also get my vote."
FreidelNo.1 said: "Everton - a poor start (good for us though!) they pulled it together, finished 5th was it? and FA cup final with a small and injured squad and little money to spend."
Spinnaker said: "I'm gonna say Fulham.. because of how far they've come... from just surviving relegation by the skin of their teeth last season to securing European football this season. Amazing transformation.. Well done Roy Hodgson!!"
Blue_Canoe said: "Liverpool for me - if they hold on to their midfield then ManU are going to struggle to compete with them next year."
Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!
