'If It's Football, It's Vital'

That's Not Emulating Tugay!!!

Emulating Blackburn Rovers legend Tugay is something that Middlesbrough's Tuncay Sanli has said he wants to do.

The £7 million rated striker will leave Middlesbrough this summer after they were relegated from the Premier League last season and Tuncay says he wants to leave his mark on the English game like Tugay did.

Tuncay sold the Daily Mirror: "There's been contact with several teams and interest from England, Germany and Spain.

"But I want to play for another three years in England like Tugay did. He was very good in the UK at Blackburn and left his mark. Football in England takes over your life.
"

The Turkish International has already slipped up and can't make a mark like the Maestro as he NEVER looked to jump ship as easily as Tuncay is and would NEVER has dreamt of not turning up for training, with it understood this is something that the Turkish striker (along with several other Middlesbrough wantaways) did this week???

Tuncay was given permission by Southgate to have a few more days off before returning to pre-season training. Go over to Vital Boro and read the main story. The papers are very wide of the mark on this one!

He's still not emulating Tugay though buddy!! Tugay was a one team man in England!
Mikey D
Yeah MikeyD, but he never had his club relagated. And his club wasn't Middlesborough... No offence to them...

Personality is the important difference here, everything are less....cheers

Well if emulating Tugs sees him rock up at Ewood I would be very happy, although £7m is an over-estimation.

He still would of stayed Arsenal rob - he turned down 3 massive offers to play elsewhere whilst he was here, a huge indication of his loyalty in this day and age?!
Mikey D
MIKEY D, what are you going on about, i wouldnt exactly call tu-gay a legend or brilliant footballer and the only reason crap club, if he'd have moved to a better club he would have been a very average player. There is a lot of talk about players going awol, when in fact only mido & alves did and the rest got extra time off. I dont blame tuncay for wanting to leave, but wherever he goes he will do a good job.

jake21? with that comment you just proved you know nothing about football and you actually know less than a 5 year old.. words cant describe how stupid you are? unless your a burnley fan.. and that says it all.. to quote alex fergerson "if he [tugay] was 10 years younger i would sign him" so jake.. shut the fu*k up..
