Rovers Make Initial RVN Enquiry

Blackburn have taken the plunge and made an enquiry about Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Sky Sports and various new outlets are reporting that dialogue has been opened but it could be a little while before player to club talks could begin and the main stumbling block could begin to be negotiated - the players wages.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce last week shocked us all by signalling his intent to 'sell' Rovers to Van Nistelrooy and wanted to try and persuade Ruud to take a wage cut.

Real Madrid have indicaited that Van Nistelrooy is surplus to requirements and he apparently wants to move on as well.

Last week Allardyce stated Rovers had not made any contact over RVN but now it is clear that an enquiry has since been made.

It is long way from happening but the effort is being made.

This would be amazing if Sam could pull it off - but it is a dream at the moment!

Let's hope he pulls it off, it's all looking a bit desperate at the moment as far as our front line is concerned. We need to get someone soon. In fact we need two!
