King Kong Of The Congo Calm Over His Future

Christopher Samba is not being drawn into taking the bait to discuss his future at Rovers but hardly did much to quash the rumours this afternoon after a brief chat with Sky Sports.

The massive defender is a cult figure at Ewood Park after moving in a virtual unknown in January 2007.

There has been specualtion that Man City, Everton and West Ham are all interested in the man known as King Kong of the Congo but it has all been scattered rumour more than anything substantial.

Samba insists he is not dwelling too much on the transfer talk and will wait to see what happens.

Big Chris, spoke to Sky Sports and said - 'I am still at Blackburn so I can't comment,'

'Whoever wants me will need to talk to Blackburn Rovers and we will see.

'I have nothing to add. I am calm and waiting. I have had a great holiday.'

This to me seems like a hedge the bets type tactic. Samba I am sure he is keeping his options open but clearly he is very happy at Rovers.

Think we are safe with this one because it would take a monster offer for Sam to sell Samba.

Can't see it - it would surely need a massive offer to prise Chris Samba from Ewood.

Saw in a danish newspaper that Dortmund were very interested in Samba, but let see what happens. Hope he stays, don't want a new player in the center defence...cheers
