Individual Performance Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2008-2009 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2008-2009 continue to be dished out with the INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: Sam Allardyce for keeping Rovers up!

When asked to simply leave the name of the player and the opponent against whom you felt the Individual Performance of the Season came against most felt Allardyce for keeping us up should be the Award Winner. So congratulations to Big Sam!!!

An honorary mention goes to Stephen Warnock though for his performance against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by click here.

Money4midfield said: "Probably the hardest of all the awards to remember. I'll try and get the brainstorm going though. I remember Dunn had a stunning first game against Everton. Great goal and great passing. Back then we all thought Ince was a great decision. How wrong we were. Warnock played a couple of absolute stormers. One in which he scored, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was against. Amazingly, Robbo had a great game in our tonking by Liverpool.... help me out!"

Mikey D said: "Ryan Nelsen v Wigan at home.

Lost nothing in the air, stood his ground and fought when it needed to be done and inspired everyone around him.

AND HE SCORED!
"

Blue n Whitey said: "Mikey D that is an awesome shout! But I'm going for Warnock away at Fulham! He was unbelievable that day, he could have had a hat-trick if it wasn't for Schwarzer! WARNOCK v FULHAM away"

retroflair31 said: "Yeah I'm going with Big Sam as well."

FreidelNo.1 said: "Warnock vs. Fulham."

JuanFranDeLaHuego said: "Nelson against Wigan. Not a lot of choice this year!"
