Allardyce Has His Say On Gally

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has informed Paul Gallagher he has a chance to secure a future at Blackburn Rovers.

Gallagher has had more loans than Bom Bom has hot meals and was thought to be on his way out permanently this summer but Sam has spoken out that this couldn't be further than the truth.

With Roque Santa Cruz and Matt Derbyshire having left the club for Man City and Olympiacos respectively, the man known as Gally will be challenged to take advantage and make a place his own.

Allardyce, speaking to rovers.co.uk said -'It's down to Paul,'

'He had one of the brightest futures of any young player here many years ago under Graeme Souness.

'If Paul wants to change his outlook on how he wants to develop his career, he is at a great place to do it.

'The talent is not in question, the desire to be a Premier League player is what Paul needs to have. If he can show that then we have a terrific player at Blackburn.'

I personally would love Paul to make it here. He has his doubters for sure but it sounds like the only thing standing in his way is his attitude.

Come on Paul, show Sam what you have got!

I wonder if Paul saw this coming in January?

PG was a wonderful player when he was in our youth team. He never let us down. He scored a bagful of goals and I would have thought that he was Sam's type of player. Go for it Paul!

Sam's type of player? I can't remember him being over 6ft and 18 stone!! Sorry, being a bit cynical....
Wellsy
18 stone?!?! Isnt that just benni?!!
Mikey D
lol poor benni, at least he is still with us and chipping in.....as for gally, interesting. He was all but gone under the Hughes and Ince era, yet Allardyce seems to see something in him, whilst doesnt see much in derbs....different players for different managers i guess

I hope so too. But I think Derbyshire has always looked like the better option to me.

I think Gallys skill level actually surpasses Derbyshires but then Derbyshire scores more goals. I have always rated Gally and that wont change - I think this could be his time.
