Rivals Is Gone Long Live Vital Blackburn!!!

Rivals Is Gone Long Live Vital Blackburn!!!

Personally I'll never use another Blackburn Fans Site again now that I'm a VBer (Vital Blackburner) and the founder member of Vital Blackburn that helped establish it to what it is now.

We know there is still PLENTY of room for improvement and I can assure my fellow VBers that I (and the rest of the Vital Blackburn team) am not resting on any Loral's we're ALL very hungry for the VBer Network to grow yet more, and the falling of one Fans Site could be to the benefit of another, us right here at Vital Blackburn?!?!

With the news that Rivals.net has gone (as sad as this is to tell the truth as Rivals.net has had a rich history by all accounts) I'll shamelessly put a call out for ANY former Rivals members that now find that they don't have a Fans Site to visit in saying that the Blackburn Rovers one that you want is this very one, Vital Blackburn. This is the place to be and this WILL live on and on and grow more and more!!!

Any writers (or members) formerly connected with Rivals are MORE THAN WELCOME to become VBers, it might even be possible for former writers or contributors to actually join the Vital Blackburn Site Journalists team? (This is a decision that I and the other VBer Site Journalist would make together if we had any interest?)

Please send me an e-mail (blackburn@vitalfootball.co.uk) if you'd like more information.

It is sad to see them go as they did have a good following from what I understand but in a selfish way this is good news for Vital Blackburn as we have a lot to offer here... welcome aboard any new members. We are on the rise...

Sorry if it seems shameless and heartless but the fact of the matter is if WE don't try and temp people over to be VBers then someone else will. Vital Football IS a stable network and like Vital Blackburn is on the up, before the new season is here we should also have undergone a bit of modernisation like other Vital Sites have started to. Join us over here, it's the ONLY place to be!!!

Unashamble marketing there Walker - brilliant. Yeah it is always a shame to hear a rival go under but to echo the sentiments of Walker and Mikey D, I hope that we can ensnare a few of their members so that this brilliant site can continue to grow.

We've come ALONG way haven't we roversman, but we CAN (and Mr Mikey assure me we will) go a long way still. The fall of Rivals could very well see this rise continue.

Join Vital today - it is easily the biggest and the best fans website with great articles, polls and each club has a forum that you can express your views on any subject relating to YOUR club.

sorry for what is essentially a 'copy and paste' job, but my message to anyone from rivals – after the sad decline of that network – that is considering coming over to vital football for whatever side is...do it!
whatever club you support vital football is the place for you for fantastic banter, quality writing and what can be fantastic forums too...
do not just think about it, do it – join vital football and get involved is what i say!

and you get to listen to me talk gibberish!!!! lol.... I feel we can go along way. We have a lot of visitors to the site that are skim readers and as long as the network keeps things fresh and different as we always have then we can grow. Thats my philosiphy too!

Yep have to agree with you fellas, as football historian and researcher I've seen hundreds of fan sites in my time and the Vital Network stands out head and shoulders above the rest time and time again for quality articles and quality debate. Long may it continue - If you are not a member join up (it's really easy) and get involved you won't regret it .. oh there's the new Vital England too don't forget !

New Ipswich Date Confirmed

I think that old adage of 'taking it a game at a time' will be the case for Rovers mind, with one of two Premier League sides, Liverpool or West Ham, faced next!
