Rovers Given Hoilett Green Light

Blackburn Rovers are understood to have been given a green light to use highly-rated Junior Hoilett this season with newspaper reports saying a work permit has been granted.

It's understood that a special appeals committee has ruled in favour of Rovers (in a landmark case) so the 19-year-old striker is now free to begin his Rovers career. Hoilett wasn't expected to be granted a work permit so it was thought he'd have to leave Ewood Park, however, if these newspaper reports are accurate Hoilett is now free to play for Rovers.

The Canadian striker spent last season on loan with German side St Pauli.

Isnt this something of a landmark ruling?

Apparently so dude, I'm assuming we'll hear something more official soon?!?!

I'm hoping so. The lad isn't rated that highly on Football Manager but BFS has obviously seen something and that excites me. It would be extremely handy if he can make an impact and add five or six goals next season; that would be very handy indeed.

Fairly popular here in Germany. I think a few of the Bundesliga clubs were gonna go in for him if he didnt get his permit. I have seen him twice (just highlight shows) and he is pretty good.

When in doubt refer to football manager!!! lol Roversman. I have seen nothing of him but what I hear is that he was quite coveted so this can surely be considered a coup cant it?"!

i usually sell the kid of first thing on fml, make a mill or 2, then I check him in about 6 seasons and wonder why I sold him.....another Sam Allardyce smart move in the making???
