Rovers Complete French Youngster Signing

Ten minutes ago Rovers confirmed the signing of talented French midfielder Steven N'Zonzi from Amiens SC.

Amiens were a second division side last year but even though they got relegated Stevens' contribution was a stand out one as he impressed on the ball and with his movement. Now Steven has taken a step up to the Premier League and signed a four year deal with the best football team in the world.

N'Zonzi has represented France at youth level and made 35 appearances for Amiens SC last season.

Very much one for the future but also a great signing with a touch of youth that Allardyce is looking to add to the match day squad.

Now for that striker....

honest mistake the deal, although undisclosed could finish of being as high as £1.7 million based on appearances and add ons, its great to bring in a young player who has potential and although its hard to gauge how vlose he will be to being involved in the first team this season im sure he coulkd have a fuitful future at rovers

Not sure about this one. Look at Rigters (who?). Just hope he fulfills some of his promise!

Hi guys! Yep hands up I got this one wrong - easily corrected though! Enjoy.

Never heard of this guy, and could turn out to be pants, but if we're paying so much for a french second division player then I'm guessing he's going to be alright. If he can be half as good as Viera then we've got ourselves a bargain. Hopefully we'll see him in action this season.

Agreed M4M - I hope he fulfills expectations. And yes, B_C - if he is half the player Vieira was he'll still be 5'9 (just hope he doesn't get sent off as often!)
