Givet Completes Permanent Transfer To Ewood

Givet has today FINALLY signed permanently at Blackburn having completed the permanent transfer details after a loan period from parent club Marseille. Givet has signed a four-year contract at Ewood Park.

The defender who is 27, was reported to have finalised a few weeks ago after the player of the year awards but all the small details have now finally been ironed out.

Givet initially arrived at Rovers as one of Sam Allardyce's first signings after the former Bolton boss was appointed as manager to replace the sacked Paul Ince.

I think we can all agree this is brilliant news. Gael has been a rock since signing and adds a touch of class to proceedings.

Welcome aboard full time lad.

Allez allez!
