Worst Goal Conceded Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2008-2009 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2008-2009 will begin to be dished out with the WORST GOAL CONCEDED OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: The Goals against Wigan Athletic at the JJB Stadium.

When asked to simply leave the name of the player (and obviously who the goal was for) you felt scored the goal, which was the WORST we conceded this Season most felt the winner should be ALL the goals conceded against Wigan at the JJB, congratulations I suppose should go to Wigan!

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.

Money4midfield said: "There were so many... I honestly have no idea, my mind is blank. Maybe that one against Spuds at home. The one where Olsson went missing entirely."

glen9mullan said: "The three Wigan got at the JJB, schoolboy defending."

adrianbrfc said: "The second away at Wigan, Think Valencia scored it. I'm convinced our defence wanted him to score."

Mikey D said: "Xabi Alonso at Ewood.

No-one closed down, Robinson dived over the ball. Ince magic!
"

Blue n Whitey said: "Dempsey goal against Fulham away!! It was a shocker, 2 mins in, and we had a mountain to climb, luckily we did climb that mountain!"

Durks said: "Some of the early goals we conceded were horrific. But the first two Wigan scored at the JJB get my vote."

FreidelNo.1 said: "The Man city at Ewood goals - we were cruising in that game and were 2-0 with about 10 mins left, we should have wrapped that one up."

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the WORST ROVERS PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON so keep voting!!! (Click here.)
