The Moaning Child Having A Medical At Eastlands

Soon to be ex-Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz is reported to be having a medical at Manchester City ahead of his much anticipated move to Eastlands.

The Paraguay international has been moaning like a spoilt girl since November time about moving to a different club and is on the brink of getting his wish.

Despite some fitness problems that restricted him to four goals in 18 Premier League appearances last season City are super keen to have him - with ex-Rovers manager Mark Hughes currently in charge in the blue half of Manchester.

Roque should be a City player either today or tomorrow.

After that expect the Franco Di Santo loan signing from Chelsea to be confirmed.

Fingers crossed he doesn't fail. Still can't understand why we didn't sell him in january.

Sams nearly got his hands on a good amount of money!

I wish gudjohnson.. would be amazing. Hopefully he passes the medical with his dodgy knees should do though, and hopefully Williams can give sam all this income.

I would prefer Gudjohnsen to Davis

I don't think he'll get it all to spend...£10 mill plus what he already has...

Blue, hind sight is a wonderful thing, if we had known he wouldnt play again, then im sure the door wouldnt have hit him on the ar*e on the way out....but at the time he was noted as our STAR MAN even though we had strikers on the books who had scored more... £18m or wotever we're getting is good business for Rovers, a massive incentive to sell him must be his fitness, thinking back to his Bayern days he has always been troubled, were we just lucky the 1st season to keep him fit? Its a risk for both clubs, I know we're getting very good money but if he re-finds his form then we lose out on a very good player, on the other hand City could just have signed a massive crock, though £18m aint that much for them to worry about at min..either way lets hops Sam gets a good bit og the money, almost £20 from Roque and Matty, then wotever anyone is prepared to put in for Brown, Zurab,Bunn etc, should be interesting.....

We had money last year and we didn't spend it though.. Admittedly we have more this year, but still... don't be surprised to NOT see £18m going out.
