Man City Closing In On Santa Cruz?!?!

Manchester City are understood to be closing in on Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz ONCE AGAIN!!!

According to newspaper reports Man City have been closing in on Santa Cruz more times than I've had hot dinners and still this transfer hasn't materialised!!! A "senior Rovers source" is understood to have disclosed this latest information to the tabloids.

This source told the Sun: "Talks between the clubs are ongoing but we're not a long way apart now.

"If he's going to go we want it done quickly.
"

And yet we still wait for further developments as this story was ran in the Sun on Wednesday morning and according to this report Mark Hughes' Man City side were closing in on a £15 million deal last night (which would've been Tuesday night!) This is getting boring now so I think it's time the newspapers moved onto something else!!!

Absolutely right, Walker. The majority of City fans over at Vital Man City don't want RSC at all -- mostly because of his injury record and low goalscoring other than the season before last. I hope you just keep him and City buy Peter Crouch.
