Zurab Seals Galatasaray Switch???

Blackburn Rovers defender Zurab Khizanishvili is understood to have sealed a move to Galatasaray, which will be officially confirmed once he returns from his holiday?

The Georgian International has been linked with the Turkish club for a number of weeks now with it understood that a deal for €2.5 million and a three-year contract will officially be completed once Khizanishvili returns from his Hawaiian vacation. It's also understood that Rovers legend Tugay played a role in this transfer due to his close links to Galatasaray and of course Rovers.

However, until there is official confirmation of the Monk leaving for pastures new (which wouldn't come as a shock) this remains nothing more than speculation.

Sad to see him go as I feel he is better than perhaps he is given credit for but 2 million for what is effectively a squad player is good money.

exellent deal for 2million, but i agree with mikey, he looked very solid when he played just didnt get the oppertunity to perform on a regular basis. good luck tho

2.5m is def. beyond what we expect...good business. i'm sure he'll prosper at galatasaray. may be he'll be playing champ league football next season?

fair do, the monk has served us well, but really is never going to crack it as a regular with nelsen and samba our cb, and givet now coming in, best of luck monky

i think this is a great deal for both the player and club, we get £2m and he gets 1st team football ( hopefully )
Clint
How will we cope without that haircut?!
Mikey D
Good money - however he did lack pace at times. Problem is he could play right back which is a position most people are always concerned about! But, if he goes, I wish him luck.
