Zurab Seals Galatasaray Switch???

Blackburn Rovers defender Zurab Khizanishvili is understood to have sealed a move to Galatasaray, which will be officially confirmed once he returns from his holiday?

The Georgian International has been linked with the Turkish club for a number of weeks now with it understood that a deal for 2.5 million and a three-year contract will officially be completed once Khizanishvili returns from his Hawaiian vacation. It's also understood that Rovers legend Tugay played a role in this transfer due to his close links to Galatasaray and of course Rovers.

However, until there is official confirmation of the Monk leaving for pastures new (which wouldn't come as a shock) this remains nothing more than speculation.

Sad to see him go as I feel he is better than perhaps he is given credit for but 2 million for what is effectively a squad player is good money.

Good money - however he did lack pace at times. Problem is he could play right back which is a position most people are always concerned about! But, if he goes, I wish him luck.
