'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vinnie G- 'I've Been Rubbish'

Vinnie G, a lynchpin behind Australia's World Cup Qualification, has come out in the press, dissapointed with his performances in his first season in the English Premier League with the mighty Blackburn Rovers.

After just 17 appearances, some Rovers fans are wondering whether the money was well spent, 4 Million pound transfer from Italian Club, Torino. Grella however, believes he can show the Ewood Faithful what he can do.....

'It's been a Rubbish year, I'm happy to see the end of it, and I'm feeling good now.... I played with niggles and was just making them worse...'

'I'm looking forward to next season, and think I can do a lot better'.

Good to see some footballers can actually put their hand up when things just arent working....

Well In Grella,

In other news, Australia have qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, with 2 games to spare.....

Well In Australia!!!

Whats this? Australia qualified for the World cup before England? ahh this is going to be fun... props to Vinnie for being honest. what a legend

I only wish a few other players could hold their hands up like this, not naming anyone but they rhyme with Cruz and Benni lol Its always refreshing to see though

Ye at least he can admit it!! I think general poor training and fitness regimes were also to blame under the Ince era.
roverjoy
Yeah mate i would have to agree there....just to big of a crash under Ince for a team that was performing consistantly under Hughes the yr before, then throw in lasck of confidence in the manager........
Clint
His passing needs to improve a hell of a lot but his break up play is superb. If he gets his passing game right then we have a great midfielder on our hands.
durks de rover
we have had a few players come out like him before, but unlike some other players, i can tell he is very sincere about it.

good to see everybody is backing my other boy vinnie g!!

Good honest assesment from Grella, I'm sure there is plenty more to come and we'll see the real Grella next season. In other news, Australia bomb out of the Twenty20 World Cup in England as they sucked big time lol!
Walker
Nice to see him stick his hands up. I think the annoying thing is that he looks a £4 million player but is yet to prove he can stay fit. Well done Vinnie for being a man and owning up to it!

haha Walker. you guys might actually have a chance- provided you don't run into the Dutch again!

20 20 world cup? aint that where we send all our third rate players to give the english a chance, before we destroy them in the ashes? lol
