Warnock Rewarded for Great Season

After a long eventful season, it was time for the Annual Awards Dinner, the final chapter of the 2008-09 Premier League.

With many players contributing this season, the battle for the main award was close. However, Steven Warnock, who has covered central midfield, left back and left midfield, picked up the gong, claiming the Rovers player of the year award, as well as the Players Player of the year.

There were other awards as well, with several stars getting involved in the action

Lifetime Achievement Award- Tugay
Consistent Performer- Chris Samba
Best Young Player- Aaron Doran
Best Newcomer- Paul Robinson
Special Club Award- Sam Allardyce
Peter Jackson Seasonal Man of the Match Award- Ryan Nelsen

Congratulations to all!!!!

Totally agree thing Emo would have won it hands down before getting injured. I think the young player award is a bit wasted this year.

No real contest for Warnock this season - a real shining light in a torrent of injuries and poor form.
