'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sam Wants A Big Send Off For The Legend

Big Sam has been next to pay tribute to the master. Tugay leaves Blackburn after 8 years of tremendous service and the boss feels that it is the perfect day to enjoy the last game of a legend as there is no pressure on Rovers - who are now safe from relegation.

Big Sam, speaking to the LET said - 'It feels great that we are safe and can enjoy the final day.

'I hope Tugay goes out on a high with a victory and great performance - that would be very fitting for the service he has given to the club.

'Eight years at one club is not heard of very often these days.'

'He's always very clever, that is why he has lasted so long. His intelligence helped him find space no one else could find.'

Tugay plans to return to Turkey to do his coaching badges but could yet be given a testimonial by the club he joined from Rangers. Big Sam admits he will be sorely missed but definitely not forgotten.

'He is a happy boy who always has a smile on his face and a joke to crack.' Sam closed with.

happy days. I am sure Tugay will get the captains armband and will get to take a penalty (if one is awarded). Even so tomorrow promises to be a CRACKING day.
