Olsson A Rovers Target?

Blackburn Rovers are understood to be one of a number of Premier League sides interested in signing West Bromwich Albion's Jonas Olsson.

The 26-year-old joined West Brom last summer from NEC Nijmegen and has been impressive for them during the season. However, with West Brom almost confirmed as being relegated the defender could leave the Hawthorns with reports emanating from Sweden claiming that other Premier League sides want Olsson with he himself apparently aware of this interest.

Olsson told Aftonbladet: "I know that there is an interest."

Olsson isn't thought to have confirmed the clubs apparently interested in signing him but did say that four Premier League clubs were in the race, with the Swedish based newspaper (Aftonbladet) claiming that Rovers, along with Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers and Everton were the interested clubs?!?!

For a moment there I though Big sam had really lost the plot and was trying to sign a player we already have :)

No, I wouldn't object this either Mr Mikey as he's certainly been a stand out player for West Brom.
