'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Results Watch....

After our poor performance against Manchester City, many Rovers fans would have taken a look around the grounds, wondering how teams in a similar position to us performed this weekend.

Bottom Placed West Brom almost certainly nailed their coffin, going down at White Hart Lane to Tottenham 1-0.

Gareth Southgates Middlesborough lost 2-0 at home to Manchester United, who now have 1 hand on the Premiership Trophy. Newcastle lost on the road, 3-0 to Liverpool.

Outside the bottom 3, Sunderland lost at home to Everton and Portsmouth were defeated by Arsenal, 3-0. Hull City are yet to play.

As we look at the table now,

14)Portsmotuh 35 games 38 Points
15)Blackburn 35 37
16)Sunderland 35 35
17)Hull City 34 34
18)Newcastle 35 31
19)Middleborough 35 31
20)West Brom 35 28

With 3 games to go, we are actually in a better position then we were last week, with only 6 points seperating us, a loss for Newcastle and Boro, and at least a point for us will see us safe....

Anyone hoping Hull get a draw today, leaving Newcastle 4 points adrift hehehe

no i hope hull lose... and as for us- we need to win. we need to fight like we were still in the relegation zone so we can get into 12th position and earn another 2.1 million. it could be the difference between a mid table mediocrity and europe

Exactly retroflair, head for the highest a win against portsmouth and west brom will really push us up the league and we do need as much cash as possible.

I'd like Newcastle to go down for sure. I think I can safely say that 90% of prem league fans feel the same way. Why on earth would anyone be paying that thug Barton £64k a week?!
