FINALLY Nelsen Does It

Blackburn Rovers skipper Ryan Nelsen FINALLY got the first goal of his Rovers career in the 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon.

5.20pm on Sunday 26th of April 2009 will be a time and date that will be one that ALL Rovers fans will always remember as it was the moment when Nelsen (one of Rovers' greatest defenders ever?!?!) finally scored his first goal for us after 141 matches.

No goalkeeper, post or crossbar could deny God this time!!!

Has Nelson only played 141 matches for you? Seems like he's been around for ages. Nice win, Wigan's not an easy game. That should just about see you safe this year. Congrats
