Roque Knocked Out?

Roque Knocked Out?

Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz is understood to be facing a battle to be fit to play again for us this season, which maybe means he might not play for Rovers again?!?!

Tendonitis in the knee and a calf problems have caused the Paraguayan trouble all season and now the striker is to fly to Germany to see a specialist (a leading Doctor he used regularly when he played for Bayern Munich) to see if he will be able to play again, according to the newspapers anyway.

Having Santa Cruz in the side would certainly help our relegation battle, however, with RSC not able to play (if this proves the case) also impacts on his ability to put himself in the shop window to get the summer move that he desires, which of course also means the price we could get will lower!!! It's always easy looking back with the benefit of hindsight but maybe we would've been better of letting the striker leave for Manchester City in January?!?!

I make it that there is only one game left. Does that means Derbyshire'll be coming home. Big Sam, where are the answers!

But if their season is over, Big Sam should definitely look at getting him back in England given our current derth of strikers?!
