'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Matty Is Still Banging Them In

Matt Derbyshire was back on form and amongst the goals for Olympiakos as he continued his scoring streak for the Greek champions.

Derbyshire, who is on loan at Olympiakos until the end of the season from Rovers, started and scored in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Levadiakos.

It was Derbyshire's fifth goal in seven appearances for Olympiakos and it brings about more questions as to why he was allowed to leave Ewood for a short spell in January - considering the striker shortage we now have! (hindsight I know!)

Surely this spell away has shown Big Sam that he should not be selling Matty at all - he brings goals to the side and you can't put a price on that.

KEEP HIM SAM.

i am getting worried that he is going to go to Greece. they obviously value him more than big sam does. Hopefully roque will be sold and matt will be given a proper full season starting in the first team because he needs that to progress as a player

i think matty needed to get away, and get regular first team football. Im hoping that the sign on fee isnt 3 mill, cause if it is, they will definately snap it up. we will need him next season

I hope Santa goes to be honest. I've always rated Derbs as one of my favourite and best Rovers. Please Big Sam, hear our cries!!!

We shouldn't have loaned him out anyway, however, we did and we can't change it. Personally I still don't think he'll come back, and even if he does he'll be sold elsewhere. Big Sam would be making a MASSIVE mistake if he lets this happen!
