Roque And Dunny To Miss Spurs Match

Roque And Dunny To Miss Spurs Match

Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz will miss Saturday's visit of Tottenham and has gone as far as to see a consultant specialist next week.

The wantaway striker has now been out for a month and misses a fifth successive game in this crucial relegation run in.

In other squad news, Dave Dunn will more than likely miss out with a recurrence of his injury.

The good news is that Sas and Retro's love child Vince Grella has returned to training following a groin injury and is in contention for a place, more than likely, on the bench.

Here is the squad to pick from for the Big Man for the lunchtime kick off.

Rovers - Robinson, Bunn, Ooijer, Khizanishvili, Nelsen, Samba, Simpson, Warnock, Givet, Olsson, Villanueva, Tugay, Andrews, Diouf, Treacy, Mokoena, McCarthy, Roberts, Pedersen, Grella.

Rovers should start like this -

Robbo
Ooijer
Nelsen
Samba
Givet
Diouf
Warnock
Andrews
Throw In Taker/Weak Tackler/General Mooner
McCarthy
Roberts

is the loss of RSC that big a loss judging by his goal tally this season?

I think that he's a loss but maybe not massive, we have been doing well with Roberts and Benni up front at min.. though having Roque there would be better lol I hope we beat them simply cos my mate is a Spurs fan - and we need the points more than them....

We certainly do need the points more than them but the pressure is on us as well.
