Believe It Or Not They Can Score
This latest group of international has bought some interesting stories to our attention but on the Rovers front nothing beats the news that Ryan Nelsen and Morten Pedersen both scored for their countries!!!
Morten, who has not found the net for the Blue and White Army all season - despite being a regular scorer over the years (32 goals in the last 4 seasons compared to none in 32 games this time out.)
Ryan Nelsen on the other hand - has never scored for Rovers despite hitting the woodwork more times than Robin Van Persie (it seems).
But even he chipped in with two goals for the All Whites. The captain of New Zealand scored twice against Thailand 'A'.
Now the question remains - can they do it this weekend to help keep Rovers afloat?!

no its typical - the thing with Rovers is that apart from the strikers the rest of the out-field players only score the odd one or two, we are a easy team to play against in that respect....

Warnock has scored a couple as well - but I agree with Clint, our midfielders need to score more goals to help out the front men. Congrats to Ryan and Morten - and Ryan got TWO?! He might be going for a hattrick on saturday!

Like buses, you wait ages for one then two (or more) come along at once. Hopefully the "and more" can keep coming along against Spurs (and others!!!)

haha, morten gamst pedersen.... getting boos from his own country, scores and absolute peach, then pulls a nice little gester by pretending to pull his shorts down and bend over in front of the fans! what a little diamond!

i dont think he would try it though, as far as I know, i havent heard any1 booing morten yet, mayb shouting afew expletives at him now and then, but that was the reason why he done it! You can look at it one of two ways, either he is a little S**t in doing it, or it shows hes still got passion for what hes doing, and believes he can be better! im going for the more optimistic stance!
