Derbyshire Off The Mark In Greece

Matt Derbyshire got himself on the scoresheet for Olympiakos on Wednesday and it meant a lot to the Greek sides fans.

The England Under 21 international and Rovers favourite came off the bench to head home the decisive goal that put Olympiakos into the semi finals of the Greek Cup.

The goal gave his loan club a 2-1 victory over PAOK Saloniki and keeps them on track for a league and cup double.

Keep doing us proud Matty.

I think he will be better off for the experience. Matty will pick up little technical skills that you just dont get taught in England.

excellent news. I hope he breaks into the starting lineup and bangs a hat-full in... before returning to Ewood looking like England's future no. 9, becoming our top scorer next season and after 15 successful years retiring to the backroom staff as my favourite Rover of all time... Well that's the dream anyway :D

Well done Derbs, keep them flowing and I pray that you return to Ewood as I'll be gutted if you don't.
