Blackman Heads For The Seaside

Blackman Heads For The Seaside

Young striker Nick Blackman has joined the seagulls Blackpool on a months loan in a bid to step up his progress.

Blackman has been in very good form for the Rovers reserve side netting a few goals and looking composed on the ball. He has now been deemed ready for a loan move to see how he goes at a higher level than the one he has been playing at.

It is initially a one month deal but could be extended depending on how it goes and how both clubs feel.

Blackman will be linking up with Mr.Blackburn and genuine Rovers legend Tony Parkes.

Looked good when I saw him in the reserves and hopefully he can get a good experience going out on loan to a club battling against relegation, with something to play for.

A good move and a move that will get him better prepared for next season when I would expect him to make inroads into the first-team squad at the very least. Parkes will keep a good eye on him and see he's OKAY.
