Injury Strikes for Robinson

Not the best of news for Rovers fans this morning. Paul Robinson was forced of at half time after a collision with Hull City's Michael Turner. Turner picked up a yellow and Robinson was rushed of for scans.

With Allardyce initially downplaying the injury, it has come to a shock for all concerned that Robinson has suffered shoulder ligament damage. Paul has been an everpresent figure in the Rovers line up since signing from Tottenham. However, it does give our Number 2, Jason Brown, the opportunity to really show what his worth.

In other related news, Mark Bunn has been recalled from his loan spell at Leicester, making him our Number 3 goal keeper at the moment.

Fingers crossed a speedy recovery for Robinson!!!

not the best time for rovers for robbo to get injured, lets hope he is back sooner rather than later

This is not good news - but that being said, I have faith in Jason Brown

Bad news for Rovers and Paul this. But time for Jason to get a run of games. I have faith in Brown as well.

I am willing to have my mind changed about Brown and for the sake of Rovers and the season i hope I do... I just cant see him being a 1st choice keeper for a Premier League team...

It's a bad thing, but Brown is an able deputy as he has proved in the past and as he proved against Everton. The real test if what happens when Robbo is back?!?! If he goes straight back in then I expect Brown will think enough is enough. However, Brown looked like he picked up a groin strain!!!
