Greatist Threat Is From The Gunners

Greatist Threat Is From The Gunners

Blackburn Rovers fans believe Arsenal will be our main rivals in the race for fourth place despite them being five points behind fourth placed Tottenham.

Bookies still have Spurs as favourites to claim the fourth spot but only 31% of Rovers fans believe they offer a greater threat to us than their North London rivals Arsenal who got 50%.

Bolton Wanderers are also in the shake up as they have two games in hand but as the saying goes 'points in the bag are better than games in hand.' This seems to be reflected in our poll as Bolton only recieved 19% of the votes.

This weeks poll is a simple yes or no. Do you think playing Wigan on Monday night will be a disadvantage over our rivals.

Prepare for disapointment-much as I'd love us to claim a Champions League spot the evidence is there that we are not good enough. Our performances have not been good enough of late, and we will certainly not score points against Man U or the Arse scum. We've made good progress this year but still need better quality at Left Midfield, Right Back, and Centre Forward. I've been particularly dispointed by Davids in recent games-Jol should have the courage to put him on the bench. I'm also puzzled by Jenas-sometimes he looks good, partcularly going forward, but his passing is generally of a poor quality. Expect us to do no better than draw at Newcastle-a game we need to win

Only reason you're in fifth is because Bolton and Arsenal haven't played their games in hand.. don't worry - you won't be there long...

I seem to remember Rovers out playing you at the Lane. We aint got the same strength in depth as Arsenal or Spurs but are eleven are as good. We beat arsenal at ewood recently too so we are their on merit! And with no intention of winding u guys up if we don't catch you I think Arsenal will.

Spurs are in trouble they did have a big lead at one point they have been slippin. 4th place might not even be a champions league spot if Arsenal can win european cup.

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
