Who's Our Best Player?

In our latest poll we asked everyone who they though our best player was.

It was a close run thing but Roque Santa Cruz. The man who cant seem to keep his mouth shut has the ability and the technique to match the best of them and he came out on top.

Brett Emerton was second after Sasman and Retroflair made their presence known.

Benni Mac came in third.

Here are the results in full.

Who Do You Consider To Be Our Best Player?

Suggested By: Retroflair31
- McCarthy 19%
- Santa Cruz 27%
- Gamst Pedersen 3%
- Dunn 4%
- Grella 1%
- Emerton 22%
- Tugay 6%
- Samba 2%
- Nelsen 16%

I voted for Nelsen too. Not too impressed by the current poll. Try to put a bit more thought into it.

Where's Givet on the list. If he performs like he did last Saturday, he could be a contender :) I went for Benni, he's our best player when he's interested - I'm just worried about how often that is these days.

Went for Roque, was tempted to go Emerton as he had a good season up to when he got injured.

I wasn't quite sure of the context of this poll, "best player?" Was that in general, or merely at this point in time?!?!

At the min I would have to say that we, as in Rovers have no stand out players! Nelsen is having a bad season ( by his standards ) Samba has struggled as a result, so has Robinson in nets, though he has been quite good - Dunn and Grella have had stop-start seasons, Tugay is under-used, Warnock has been in every position on the left, Pederson isn't really back to his best. UP front Santa had his head turned by money on offer at City, Roberts is doing ok as is Benni now under Big Sam - I would have voted for Givet, from the last couple of matches anyway, he has setteld very quickly...

It would be a good one if we could get him. He has looked a class act everytime he has played for us this season.
