Ladies through to Cup Final

Ladies through to Cup Final

The Ladies outfit have pulled of another great results, beating their local rivals in the Semi Final of the Lancashire Cup. England international Katie Anderton got the ball rolling for Rovers, putting the visitors in the lead after 35 minutes with a delightful finish.

A former Rover came back to haunt the ladies only minutes later, with a poor clearance by Rovers keeper Krystal Parker finding ex Rover Hannah Bailey who slotted the equaliser in an open net. 1-1 Half Time.

Katie Anderton decided one goal wasnt enough, so in the 52nd minute, she drilled a screamer from outside the box, leaving the hapless Preston Keeper stranded, 2-1 Rovers.

Our Ladies will be looking to make it 6 consecutive Lancashire Cups, with the date and opposition yet to be confirmed.

Best of Luck Ladies!!!!
