We're Not Too Good To Go Down

Stephen Warnock has come out fighting today by stating that Rovers should avoid any sort of complacency and thoughts they are too GOOD to go down.

Warnock, speaking to Rovers.co.uk - 'We should be where we are because that's where we are. You're never too good to go down.

'You only have to look at the West Ham team that went down years ago with the likes of (Joe) Cole, (Michael) Carrick and (Jermain) Defoe. You can carry on through the list of players that went down.

'They were England internationals. Anyone who thinks you can be good enough not to go down is wrong.

'No one agrees with that at the club and we understand we're in a bad position. We know we should have won games but we haven't won games and that's why we're in this position.'

Well with the league as tight as it is, Warnock is right to say this as Rovers are definitely not too good go down.

We are where we are because of the players who are there now, it is up to them to dig us all out.

Do us proud lads...

We are in trouble - anyone who thinks otherwise is Tottenham style deluded. We have to earn the right to survive.

we are in a dog fight, and it will be touch and go, but when we have gone down in the past the team has not been as good as the one we have now, we have good goalscorers and thats the key to staying up

I agree we do have a good squad of players who can get us out of trouble - but it won't be easy. I think we still have to play Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all away, which means the other remaining games are vital for us to get points from.

Yeah anything we get from those 4 will be just a bonus. I am sure Sam has targeted the games we need to win. Anyone reckon we'll get anything from the big 4 away?!?
Mikey D
Stevie W is right, anyone that thinks they ARE to good to go down deserve to go down. If we start thinking that way we very well will go down, and would deserve to!!!

I cant see anyone having that bigger ego at all to think we are too good. The players are the guys that put us where we are...
